The FBM Quality Engineer will support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Quality Program in Cape Canaveral, FL. This opportunity, as the FBM Quality Engineer, will be supporting overall implementation, maintenance, and compliance to quality requirements. You will also investigate Quality related support activities and supporting quality decisions associated with the effective implementation, operation, and assessment of Quality data. This role requires strong analytical skills and detail oriented.

Must be a self-starter who can manage multiple priorities within a team environment and meet documented schedule commitments. Ideal candidate to have prior experience presenting to various internal organizations and customers. Experience in application of quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products.

Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings, and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventive Action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.

Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment; conducts quality compliance assessment, performs statistical / pareto analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Directly work on Nonconformance documents and drive them to closure. Basic Qualifications:

- Technical bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education - Min of 1 years of Quality Experience in a test or production environment - Proficiency with discrepancy documents, SAP or other databases and understand Root Cause and Corrective Action.

- Experience with data analytics to report trends and achieve results, drive improvements and efficiencies

- Experience with quality and manufacturing engineering processes or policies and/or quality systems management requirements - Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance Desired
