Accountant, Accounting Assistant, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

The accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations and play a key role in month-end closing. This is a hands-on role with exposure to multiple areas of accounting working hand in hand with the Director of Accounting which will provide great opportunities to grow as the company continues to expand.

• Work closely with our project management team and subcontractors to maintain a timely payout schedule and accuracy.
• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Maintain and process lien releases and notice to owners
• Track subcontractors certificate of insurance
• Track builders risk expiration dates to ensure all properties have coverage
• Support audits and special projects as needed
• Email maintenance, scanning and data entry

• 5 years of accounting experience (construction and builder trend experience is a plus)
• Must have Microsoft excel and word experience
• Self-starter, team player
• BA in accounting (definite plus)
