Greeter, Customer Service​/HelpDesk

Description

Role: The Greeter serves as the first point of contact for guests entering Slipaway Food Truck Park & Marina. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression, providing clear information about park operations and events, and helping guests understand how to navigate and enjoy the space.

While the primary focus is guest engagement and hospitality, the Greeter may assist with light service and cleanup tasks as needed to support overall operations.

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
• Provide a brief overview of how the park operates (ordering process, seating, vendors, payment, etc.).
• Inform guests of current events, specials, and entertainment.
• Answer questions and provide general guidance.
• Monitor the entry area to ensure it remains welcoming and organized.

• Assist with light cleanup of entry and common areas.
• Help maintain cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Provide occasional service support during busy periods.
• Communicate guest needs or concerns to management promptly.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to handle customer issues with diplomacy and resolution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable interacting with guests in both indoor and outdoor settings
