Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Graphic Design Contractor to support an in-house design team focused on creating compelling, insight-driven presentations and visual content.
This is a temporary, part-time contract opportunity with variable weekly hours
. The position may require approximately 20-40 hours per week
, depending on workload and project needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently across multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates must provide PowerPoint work samples or a portfolio containing presentation examples for consideration.
What You Will Do- Review stakeholder-created content and presentations using established quality-assurance checklists and guidelines.
- Conduct final quality reviews to identify and correct presentation errors before delivery.
- Produce high-quality graphics, data visualizations, layouts, and conceptual visuals for projects of lower to moderate complexity.
- Apply established brand and visual design principles consistently.
- Transform complex information and data into clear, intuitive, and visually compelling presentations.
- Organize and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Track project timelines and communicate project expectations using designated project-management tools.
- Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and team members regarding project status and requirements.
- Proactively identify potential roadblocks, scope changes, or timeline concerns.
- Seek and provide constructive feedback to improve design solutions and processes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT).
- Portfolio demonstrating strong presentation design and visual communication skills; PPT examples are required.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and correct presentation errors.
- Strong process orientation with the ability to follow established guidelines, checklists, and instructions.
- Ability to manage a high volume of assignments efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
- Experience developing visualizations from complex information or data.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a closely related discipline preferred.
- 1-3 years of post-college graphic design experience preferred.
- Experience designing presentations and visual content in PowerPoint strongly preferred.
This is a temporary, part-time contract position
