Job Description- Fulfill contractual obligations for full instructional load during fall and spring semesters.
- Plan activities which enhance student learning and public exposure to the Northwest Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra (Senior Orchestra)
- Recruitment of students
- Provide excellence in instruction within the jurisdiction of the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra and its education programs.
- Assist in development and evaluation of curriculum as appropriate.
- Utilize approved textbook(s) and/or other instructional materials as approved.
- Collaborate with administration, faculty, and staff to ensure student success.
- Provide student guidance and support.
- Engage in institutional service, professional development, and other duties as assigned by the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra administration.
- Complete annual mandatory compliance training.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in music or a master's degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Music.
- Demonstrated evidence of professional development growth through participation in continuing education and other related activities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Post-secondary teaching experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success with online and class teaching preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills in grades 6-12
- Strong knowledge of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments required

Part-Time - Rate of Pay: $150.00 per session
