Avant Garde Academy is seeking a Computer Science Teacher who offers the opportunity for continued practice in computer literacy. Demonstrates how computers can be used in everyday situations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Instruct students in a computer science program that meets the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of both the student and the group.
- Interact with the students and encourage their involvement in activities.
- Prepare a safe environment that is orderly, clean, and appealing.
- Plan lessons based on a curriculum outline.
- Observe, record, and report significant individual and group behavior.
- Maintain all records and files.
- Keep personnel informed of program goals and developments both with students, parents, and administration.
- Attend personnel meetings.
- Advise administration of needed equipment and supplies on the appropriate requisition form.
- Bachelor’s degree from a fully accredited college or university.
- Possession of, or eligibility for, a Florida teaching certificate for the level and subject area to be taught.
