Join our dynamic team at Small Wonders Preschool and help inspire the next generation of learners in a nurturing, Christian preschool environment. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering a creative, engaging, and loving learning atmosphere for our students. You will have the opportunity to implement age-appropriate lesson plans, assess student progress, and collaborate closely with parents and colleagues—all while sharing the love of Jesus.

• Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Create a fun and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and spiritual growth.
• Assess and monitor student progress through informal and formal observations and assessments.
• Foster strong relationships with parents through regular communication and updates on their child’s progress.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a positive, supportive work environment.
• Share Christian values with students and families in line with the mission of the school.

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
• DCF (Department of Children and Families) Certification is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with young children and creating a fun, enriching educational experience.
• Ability to foster a loving, Christian environment for children and families.

• While the official position begins for the  school year, we are seeking to hire a Lead Preschool Teacher in the summer of 2025 for onboarding, training, and classroom preparation.
