Responsibilities- Ability to solve a variety of static and dynamic structural problems using physics‑based analytical methods (hand calculations, in‑house tools, and 3rd‑party commercial analytical tools)
- Acceleration, shock, and vibration analysis
- Finite Element Model development, refinement, validation, and correlation to tests
- Solid foundation of structural static/dynamic fundamentals
- Support configuration development and trade studies of separation mechanisms
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or civil engineering
- 3+ years of experience in structural analysis of space/aerospace vehicles/structures/mechanisms
- Solid foundation of structural static/dynamic fundamentals
- Passion for spacecraft structural/environmental loads development/validation
- Ability to solve a variety of static and dynamic structural problems using physics‑based analytical methods (hand calculations, in‑house tools, and 3rd‑party commercial analytical tools)
- Spacecraft mechanisms/systems analysis
- Hyperworks, NASTRAN, ANSYS, Abaqus, and MATLAB proficiency
- LS-Dyna
- Fatigue and fracture analysis
Base Pay Range for:
CA applicants: $99,201.00 - $
CO applicants: $90,934.00 - $
WA applicants: $99,201.00 - $

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or a lawful permanent resident admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or asylum seeker.

- Additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations may apply to drivers operating commercial motor vehicles with GVW or GVWR ≥ 10,001 lbs. or transporting placardable hazardous materials
