Music Director

Overview

This full-time position is responsible for music at all liturgical and non-liturgical celebrations; the training, development, and preparation of volunteer cantors, musicians, and choir members; and all administrative functions associated with the position.

St. Andrew Church is a large, vibrant parish community. Instruments include a new Rodgers 489 (4 manual, and previously existing 9 ranks of speaking pipes) installed in 2025;
Young Chang 5′ grand piano. The position oversees the coordinator of the Coro Hispano which provides music for the Sunday Mass in Spanish and oversees the director of our Bell Choir (16 ringers).

• Master’s degree in music or related field OR Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of experience in lieu of master’s degree
• Must be a practicing Catholic.
• Experience with liturgical music in a parish setting.
• Basic computer skills.
