Compensation- Compensation Range: $58,000–$80,000

Allied Physical Therapy Wellness Community is a private outpatient physical therapy practice specializing in spine rehabilitation, TMJ dysfunction, pelvic floor therapy, orthopedic injuries, and manual therapy. The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality treatment to patients with orthopedic, spine, TMJ, pelvic floor, and/or musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting. We are open to hiring new graduates and providing additional training and support.
Primary Responsibilities- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise, stretching, balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and functional activities
- Support treatment of spine, orthopedic, TMJ, and/or pelvic floor patients
- Provide patient education regarding exercises, posture, body mechanics, and home exercise programs
- Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain clinic cleanliness, equipment readiness, and treatment flow
- Support positive patient experiences and strong customer service that reflects Allied Physical Therapy Wellness Community’s patient-centered values
- Assist with front office communication and scheduling as needed

- Pelvic floor or women’s health exposure
- TMJ dysfunction exposure
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Florida PTA license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy outpatient environment
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred, but not required
- Manual therapy, pelvic floor, TMJ, and/or specialty rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
