Location: Cape Coral, FL
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a current Florida Bar Member in good standing
- Experience in pleadings, motions, discovery, hearings, mediation, trials, etc..
- Board Certification in family law
- Managing high-level/high-asset cases by maintaining contact with people involved in the case
- Preparing for depositions
- Reviewing standard court documents
- Assessing cases and strategic planning while communicating with clients and documenting all time dedicated to the case
- Performing legal research
- Drafting legal documents
- Preparing court filings
- Educating on recent court cases, laws, local rules, and regulations
- Representing clients in family law court
- Reviewing expenses and income of client and opposing client for use in settlement and/or trial
- Working in a team with an assigned paralegal
