Manager, Supply Chain

Job Summary –Manager, Supply Chain The Manager, Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing and driving supply chain strategy and execution across a manufacturing and packaging site. This role provides leadership across the end-to-end supply chain functions including production planning, scheduling, logistics, distribution, and warehouse operations, ensuring customer service levels, cost targets, inventory efficiency, and plant performance goals are consistently met. The Manager collaborates cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Business Development, R&D, and Engineering to ensure alignment with operational objectives and continuous improvement of supply chain processes.

This position manages a team of professionals and is accountable for performance development, compliance, and capability building, including ensuring warehouse operations support uninterrupted production and distribution readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead site supply chain team to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective product availability through strategic planning, scheduling, materials management, and warehouse execution.

Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, staging, and shipping activities, ensuring alignment with production and customer fulfillment requirements.

Develop and execute the Master Production Schedule in alignment with customer demand and service levels.

Optimize plant planning processes, work-in-process control, and loading through collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory through cycle counting programs, reconciliation, and system transactions within ERP systems (e.g., JDE).Monitor, analyze, and report performance against plan using KPIs; identify and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Oversee product lifecycle transitions (PLCM), ensuring effective integration into planning systems (e.g., JDE).Serve as primary liaison for cross-functional coordination during new product introductions and customer-related initiatives.

Drive efficient warehouse layout, space utilization, and material flow strategies to support operational scalability and cost reduction.

Drive compliance with GMP, SOPs, and all applicable regulatory requirements (FDA, DEA, EPA, OSHA, DBPR).Lead recruitment, training, development, and performance management for the supply chain team, ensuring alignment with company policies and values.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation across teams.

Maintain a strong compliance mindset across safety, environmental, and quality systems.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, production planning, or materials management within pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing.

Proven track record managing multi-site operations is strongly preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:

Strong understanding of MRP systems and enterprise resource planning tools (e.g., JDE).Demonstrated expertise in FDA, GMP, DEA, and environmental health & safety regulations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
