The Manager Deliver Operations Planning is accountable for leading and governing Deliver operations planning execution across a multi-region network of distribution centers and transportation partners. The position can be located at one of our U.S. J&J sites located within NJ, PA, CA, FL, TX, or Guaynabo Puerto Rico, or internationally in Markham Canada, or São Paulo, Brazil.

This role ensures consistent application of established Deliver planning standards
, effective integration into Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and strong operational performance across service, cost, cash, and resilience outcomes. The Director enables enterprise decision-making through planning insight, scenario execution, and cross-functional alignment.

• Deliver Operations Planning Execution:
  Lead global execution of Deliver Operations Planning activities within established planning frameworks and standards.
• Supply, Capacity Planning:
  Lead Deliver supply and capacity planning across owned and 3PL distribution centers and transportation partners.
• Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Enablement:
  Own Deliver Operations Planning inputs, analysis, and recommendations into IBP processes, including Supply Review and Management Business Review.
• Scenario Planning & Decision Frameworks:
  Execute approved scenario planning related to allocation, mode mix, network risks, and launches.
• Planning Governance, Standards & Playbooks:
  Ensure compliance with global Deliver planning standards, controls, and governance expectations.
• Risk & Resilience Planning:
  Proactively identify Deliver operational risks and vulnerabilities through planning execution.

  Collaboration:
  
  Lead, coach, and develop Deliver Operations Planning teams and key planning contributors. Partner closely with Regional Deliver Operations, E2E Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance.
• Scope & Accountability:
  Owns Execution of Deliver Operations Planning activities;
  Deliver supply and capacity planning outcomes;
  Deliver planning inputs and recommendations into IBP.

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Extensive experience in supply chain planning, operations planning, or deliver/network planning within a global environment
• Demonstrated leadership in Planning and IBP integration
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization

• Experience operating within complex, multi-region distribution and logistics networks
• Strong analytical, scenario planning, and decision-framework development skills
• Ability to translate strategy into standardized, executable planning processes

Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s or equivalent University Degree is required, Masters or advanced degree preferred.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 6-8 years overall business experience is required, preferably focused on Planning/Deliver/Strategy and management of large programs.
• Proven success working in a complex, highly matrixed, global organization with constantly evolving priorities and tight timelines.
• Validated ownership of IBP process and linkage to P&L/working capital
