This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.

We are looking for someone to apply their leave expertise to deliver leave of absence, disability, and accommodation services to Blue Origin employees and positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary liaison between Blue Origin, employees, managers, and HRBPs throughout the full leave lifecycle - from initiation through return to work
- Manage complex leave and accommodation cases (FMLA, ADA, state/local) in partnership with our third-party administrator, Matrix/Reliance
- Track leave dates, PTO usage, and pay accuracy in coordination with payroll
- Consult with legal and compliance partners on complex cases and policy development
- Lead group and 1:1 consultations on leave, disability, and accommodation options
- Identify process gaps and drive improvements
- Serve as escalation point for senior leadership on time-sensitive matters
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee medical documentation
- Stay current on applicable federal and state leave/accommodation laws
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of benefits experience, with 3+ years in leave and disability administration
- Demonstrated expertise in FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, STD/LTD, and state leave programs
- Working knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, ACA, USERRA, Section 125, and related regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and HRIS/benefits platforms
- Strong case management judgment, especially with limited information
- Ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously under deadline pressure
- Effective communicator across employee, manager, HR, and legal audiences
- High discretion with confidential information
- Self-directed; proactive in building cross-functional partnerships
