PACKER- 1st Shift

Market Leader in Aluminum Extrusion is seeking a reliable, motivated person for work in Packing department.

• Able to stand all day
• Ability to lift 40+ pounds
• Able to work in manufacturing environment around working machinery and experiencing seasonal extreme weather conditions (heat/humidity or cold)
• Must have good math and measuring skills.
• Valid driver's license required to operate forklifts.

5:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Saturday

• Prepares and packs customer orders for shipment. Inspects metal and counts pieces.
• Packs metal according to printed customer specifications.
• Ensures correct count of pieces is displayed on packed bundles.
• Works in 2-person teams to handle heavy packing jobs. Performance is measured against established productivity goals.
• Maintains clean and orderly workplace.
• Observes safety rules and practices; reports any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor.
• Weekends are required.
