Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is responsible for providing care to mothers and newborns in a Maternal Level 2 and Nursery Level 1 environment. The nurse will work in a 24-bed unit and must demonstrate the ability to handle labor and delivery situations, postpartum care, and nursery responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist patients during labor and delivery.
• Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers.
• Care for newborns in the nursery setting, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the Epic electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure best practices in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Degree accreditation must be provided or a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience.
• Must be able to float to other sister campuses as needed.
