This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, with call requirements of 12 hours in one calendar month.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide care for patients in a 24-bed unit. The unit includes OB-Maternal Level 2 and Nursery Level 1 care. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to mothers during labor and delivery.
• Manage postpartum care with a patient ratio of 3-4:1.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for mothers and newborns.
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety procedures during patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery Room/Postpartum experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Experience with electronic medical records, specifically Epic.
• Must possess a valid nursing license and have degree accreditation documented.
• Willingness to float to other sister campuses as needed.
