Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Newborn Nursery – Sunny Southwest Florida

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced pediatric nurse practitioner to join our established neonatology practice in Fort Myers, Florida. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice in a supportive, collaborative environment while enjoying an exceptional Gulf Coast lifestyle.

• Provide attending coverage at Cape Coral Hospital, a Level I low-risk delivery service.
• Daily newborn nursery rounding and delivery attendance.
• Flexible scheduling with eight- or twelve-hour shifts.
• Back-up coverage from home for added work-life balance.
• Supported by a robust team of 10 neonatologists and 10 neonatal nurse practitioners at Golisano Children’s Hospital.
• Hospital affiliated with state-of-the-art, 70-bed Level III NICU.
• Ideal candidate will have strong prior experience in a newborn nursery.

• Current APRN national specialty certification as a PNP.
• Minimum of a master’s degree.
• Highly preferred strong prior experience in a newborn nursery.

• Community hospital within the Lee Health System.
• Single-room maternity care model allowing families to remain in one suite throughout labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Leapfrog "A" Safety Grade, 4-Star Baby Friendly Hospital designation.
• Seamless collaboration with Golisano Children’s Hospital, the only children’s hospital between Tampa and Miami.
