Schedule & Setting

• Monday Friday outpatient clinic

• Clinic

  8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Inpatient shift coverage: 8 10 hours

• Mix of clinic, hospital rounding, and surgical support

• Call rotation includes nights and weekends

Patient Volume (Clinic)

• Monday: patients

• Tuesday: patients

• Wednesday: patients

• Thursday: patients

• Friday: 7 15 patients

Clinical Responsibilities

• Support neurosurgical procedures and patient management

• Assist with spine and cranial surgical cases

• Trauma coverage and inpatient rounding

• Assist with surgical block coverage (approximately 2 OR days per week depending on service needs)

• Respond to trauma cases as needed

• Hemilaminectomy / Laminectomy / Decompression

• Foraminotomy

• Lumbar interbody fusion

• OLIF / ALIF

• Microdiscectomy

• Robotic laminectomy

• Craniotomy / Cranioplasty

• VP shunt placement

• Kyphoplasty

• Carpal tunnel release

• Embolization

• Endarterectomy

• Spinal fusion procedures

Equipment

• O-Arm imaging available for spine procedures when ordered

Practice Model

• Collaborative team environment with neurosurgeons

• Trauma program involvement

• Hospital and clinic time varies based on surgical and trauma volume

Support & Coverage

• Multi-provider neurosurgery team

• Shared call rotation

• Trauma center environment

EMR

• EMR system utilized across clinic and hospital settings

Requirements

• Updated CV with no gaps

• LEE Attestation Form

• NPDB report (must be within 3 months and clear)

• Primary sourced case logs from the past 12 months

• BLS certification

• NICA compliance for 2026
