Come join our awesome team as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse at Gulf Coast Village's Skilled Nursing. This is a Full‑time night shift position (7pm‑7:30am)! We’re offering a great work environment. Gulf Coast Village is part of Volunteers of America National Services, the housing and healthcare affiliate of the parent organization.
This night shift is scheduled for 72 hours per pay period, from 7pm to 7am.
Pay- LPN: $24.00 – $30.50 per hour, based on verified work experience
- RN: $33.14 – $39.94 per hour, based on verified work experience

The Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse shall perform in accordance with state and local laws and the guidelines of his/her professional organization. All functions shall be performed in accordance with the established policies and practices of the institution where the LPN or RN is employed. The LPN or RN is qualified by education, training, and experience and demonstrates the ability to give nursing care under RN direction, while applying psychological, biological, and social sciences principles.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school with current licensure (LPN or RN) in the state of practice. Maintain current CPR certification.
- Customer‑service oriented with knowledge of successful customer‑service techniques.
- Ability to understand resident charts, doctor’s orders, plan of care, and medication orders.
- Effective gathering of clinical data regarding resident status and condition.
- Maintain IV certification if required by state.
- Understanding of Antibiotic Stewardship, Infection Prevention & Control, and OSHA guidelines.
- Proficient use of computers and electronic devices for timekeeping, in‑service, and documentation.
- Pass drug, criminal, and employment background screenings.
- Able to meet all essential functions.
- Effective communicator with staff, families, and outside agencies.
- Ability to prioritize duties.
- Model positive communication with staff, customers, guests, residents, and families.
- Follow all shift routines, policies, and procedures for monitoring vital signs, weights, medication administration, and treatments.
- Immediately report suspected abuse or neglect per facility policy.
- Accurately use electronic documentation systems as required.
