• Safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Perform nursing practice across five areas: clinician, teacher, researcher, leader, and professional development.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on established clinical standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and desired outcomes.
• Support the organization’s vision and mission and provide patient care that respects age and cultural diversity.
• Contribute to quality nursing care through customer service excellence and performance improvement techniques with positive outcomes.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited nursing school required;
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Required (qualified individuals must complete the competency assessment). Requirements may vary by department.
• Certification:
  American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) current for a minimum of 90 days after hire.
• License:
  Currently licensed in the State of Florida.
• Other:
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills.
