Description
Devereux has an exciting opportunity to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner!
** This is an Independent Contractor position **
Devereux Florida provides programs and services for individuals with significant intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or emotional or behavioral challenges. This position is responsible for:
- Completing psychiatric evaluations
- Working in collaboration with physician to provide diagnostic and intervention patient care
- Monitoring and reevaluations as needed
- Medication management
- Participation in physician peer review and relevant meetings

Position Details:
Rate: $75 / hour
Schedule: flexible schedule (4-25 hours/week)
Location: Remote/Virtual (must reside in Florida)
QualificationsEducation and Licensure:
- Master's Degree (required)
- Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Florida (required)
- Active Medicaid provider number and authorized to provide psychiatric services by Chapter 464, F.S. (required)
Other Requirements:
- Two years' Psychiatric experience (required)
- Two years' experience working with children and adolescents (required)
- Two years' experience working with children and adolescents (preferred)
