* Purpose:

To provide medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health and wellbeing.

Qualifications:

* Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
* Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
* Must possess basic computer skills
* Must possess current and valid license for Practical Nurse
* Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred

Essential Functions:

* Assists in providing basic healthcare services according to the individual’s plan ensuring each individual’s optimal health and wellbeing
* Performs tasks as delegated, such as blood pressure monitoring, weights, and other assigned tasks
* Ensures all documentation is accurate and complete according to regulations
* Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of supplies and equipment, ensuring restocking of inventory
* Collaborates with Direct Support Professionals to ensure that the needs of the individuals are being met
* Communicates immediately any changes in medical or behavioral status to supervisor
* Performs all other duties as assigned
