Practical Nurse

Purpose:

Provide medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health and wellbeing.

• Assist in providing basic healthcare services according to the individual’s plan, ensuring optimal health and wellbeing.
• Perform tasks as delegated, such as blood pressure monitoring, weight measurement, and other assigned duties.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete according to regulations.
• Organize and maintain supplies and equipment, ensuring restocking of inventory.
• Collaborate with Direct Support Professionals to meet the needs of individuals.
• Communicate immediately any changes in medical or behavioral status to supervisor.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Successfully complete required pre‑employment background and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license with all necessary endorsements and a minimum of three years of driving experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Current and valid license for Practical Nurse.
• Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.

• Hourly rate: $32.00
