ROLE SNAPSHOT- Location/
Schedule:
Remote or On-site, Full-Time - Purpose:
Lead and strengthen the Quality Management System while ensuring product excellence across the full lifecycle.
- Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System, including controlled documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards across all product categories.
- Lead internal audits and support third-party or regulatory inspections.
- Oversee supplier and contract manufacturer qualification, audits, and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Approve raw material specifications, finished product testing requirements, and release documentation.
- Manage complaint investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Supervise and develop QA team members, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Track and report quality metrics and trends to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of quality experience in dietary supplements, food/beverage, pharma, or another regulated industry.
- 2–3 years of leadership or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP and FDA/FTC regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with supplier qualification, audits, and quality system management.
- Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis, CAPA management, and documentation control.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Master’s degree in a scientific or technical field.
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE).
- Experience with new product introduction and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality frameworks.
- Experience working with international suppliers or global manufacturing partners.
- Experience using digital QMS platforms or ERP-based quality modules.

This is a highly accountable leadership role. You’ll be responsible for rigorous documentation, supplier oversight, audit readiness, and preventing quality failures before they happen. It demands precision, discipline, and proactive leadership.
The pay range for this position is $95,000 to $120,000 annually. Please note that the quoted pay range for this job is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) experience, including industry or specific experience, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, and/or other applicable laws.
