Under the direction of the Team Leader or Production Team Leader, the employee is responsible for sorting, pricing, quality selection of donated shoes, transporting donated shoes to sales floor, stocking shoe fixtures, rotating merchandise, displaying donated shoes according to merchandising guidelines, and maintaining the processing area clean, neat, and safe condition.

• Clean and sort donated shoes into proper containers, placing non-sellable items into outlet containers.
• Price merchandise using Goodwill price guide.
• Rotate stock on a timely basis and in accordance with established procedures; bring merchandise to sales in a timely manner.
• Keep production area clean, neat, and safe.
• Maintain well-groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge.

• Assist in textile and miscellaneous power hour process per established procedure.
• Responsible for performing assigned duties within the framework of Core Principles.
• Attend in-service and related training as assigned by Team Leader.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead and Production Team Lead.

• Ability to adhere to the organization's Core Principles.
• Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.
• Ability to react calmly and respond to emergency situations.
• Ability to listen and follow directions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of shoe brands and current trends.

Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.

Level 1:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with ten’s and hundred’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have beginner knowledge.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

No Purchasing Authority.

Physical and environmental requirements:

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Vision abilities required: close, distance, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Standing and walking for long periods of time.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push and pull.
• Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side and to lean and remove items from containers.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Level 2:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.

Level 2:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
