As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do- Collaborate with cross functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources, communicating effectively and developing interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels and control shrinkage.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage and back‑room operations. Process meat according to specifications—for example cutting, slicing, grinding and wrapping—ensuring compliance with food‑safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training and product quality with the member in mind. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Drive the business results. Plan for profitability, maintain a work area in accordance with company policies, and ensure quality and standards for high‑volume meat products. Eliminate waste, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, and assist members with purchasing decisions. Ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labelled and stored.
- Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the members’ experience. Model high‑quality service and products, execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality, and interact with associates to understand roadblocks and train them in job‑related duties.
- Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity. Implement action plans and apply the Open‑Door Policy in business processes.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines and expectations. Communicate progress, recommend improvement opportunities and adapt to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. Different premiums may apply.
Minimum Qualifications- 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Meat Processing Area experience.
