Position SummaryEnsures area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with Company policies by handling returns, zoning the area, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Provides member service at exit and self‑checkout areas, assists members with purchasing decisions, guides about self‑checkouts, and processes payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges. Secures and safeguards assets, maintains logs, executes emergency response, and ensures compliance with security practices.
Trains Member Frontline Service associates on company processes, technology, and program rollouts. Completes assignments using company policies, data, and resources, collaborates with managers, co‑workers, and customers, identifies priorities, and recommends improvement opportunities. Applies company ethics, the Open Door Policy, and related action plans.
- Maintain area of responsibility, handle returns, zone area, arrange merchandise, identify shrink and damages.
- Provide member service at exit, review receipts, acknowledge members, identify needs, assist purchasing decisions, locate merchandise.
- Maintain self‑checkout area, resolve member issues, promote Sam’s Club products, guide use of self‑service technology, process purchases, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
- Secure assets and property, observe potential criminal activity, log documentation, execute emergency response, ensure security and safety compliance.
- Train new Member Frontline Service associates on processes, technology tools, new program rollouts, and continuous learning.
- Adhere to company policies, ethics, Open Door Policy, and execute business processes.
- Complete work assignments using policies, data, resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and customers; prioritize, meet deadlines, communicate progress, recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances.
