We are currently looking for the right Retail Store Management Trainee to join our team! Pay ranges at $18.00 to $30.25 per hour.
Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $8.69 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

- Vacation:
Employees are granted one week of paid vacation after completing six months of full‑time service. We are seeking a Store Manager Trainee with a minimum of six months of store management experience. The trainee is accountable for day‑to‑day operations, promoting a positive, productive environment, and partnering with the Store Manager to lead and develop staff, recruit and retain talent, and maximize financial goals. The trainee analyzes financial statements, ensures financial objectives are met, commits to the asset protection program, and targets new customer acquisitions.
The role may involve selling a wide variety of merchandise including jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Compensation includes hourly wage, commission based on productivity, and bonus based on store performance.
- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers and rapidly addressing issues.
- Monitor and assist in training store staff to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring procedures protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and customer loan security.
- Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, systems, and reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability via communication and goal‑setting.
- Maintain operating standards that meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and purchase processes to maintain loan value and integrity.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development.
- Communicate clearly with employees regarding store mission and profit objectives.
- Stay updated on product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in the manager’s absence.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
- Demonstrated supervisory ability.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May be asked to assist customers outside the store or retrieve items from external storage.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Able to work in multiple locations as needed.
- Willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
