Base Pay

This role has a minimum base pay of $15.10 per hour, with higher starting pay available based on experience.

Floor & Decor’s Sales Associates play a key role in continuously providing customers with friendly, accurate service and support in finding products to complete their projects. Our Sales Associates contribute to a fast‑pace, safe environment by keeping sales departments clean and well stocked.

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products, and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain the in‑stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring it is clean, shoppable, and safe.
• Work in cooperation with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using a point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Process customer refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines.
• Follow established cash, check and credit‑card acceptance procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Act in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
• Demonstrate and understand compliance with the company’s safety processes.
• Answer telephone according to company guidelines.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Work in a fast‑pace environment with accuracy.

• Must be 18years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer‑service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require completion of forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test.

The employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. Noise level is typically quiet to moderate. Physical/sensory requirements include exerting 30–60pounds of force occasionally, 20–30pounds frequently, or >20pounds continuously to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Employees must use hands and fingers and are frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Saturday: 8:00AM – 7:00PM
Sunday: 10:00AM – 6:00PM
