As a Member Services Associate you will provide outstanding member service by maintaining the checkout area, resolving member issues, promoting Sam's Club products and services, and guiding members on self‑service technology. You will process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges following company policies; conduct safety sweeps and report unsafe situations to the facility management. Your role includes maintaining entrance and exit areas, monitoring membership cards and sales receipts, securing assets, maintaining logs, executing emergency response procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices.
In addition, you’ll train new associates on processes and technology, identify shrink and damages, and collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners to prioritize and complete tasks, communicate progress, and address improvement opportunities. - Provide member service, including acknowledging members, verifying cards, and identifying needs.
- Maintain checkout, entrance, and exit areas while ensuring a safe shopping environment.
- Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to policies.
- Conduct safety sweeps and report unsafe situations to facility management.
- Assist members with locating merchandise, making purchasing decisions, and transporting items.
- Secure Sam's Club assets and property, monitor for potential criminal activity, and keep accurate logs.
- Execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with security and safety practices.
- Train Member Front‑Line Services associates on processes, technology, and new program roll‑outs.
- Identify shrink and damages and maintain area organization and merchandising zones.
- Adhere to ethics, open‑door policy, and company standards; apply action plans to enhance business processes.
- Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and recommend improvements.

- Retail experience operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- Experience with mobile retail applications.
- Additional experience in customer service or retail environments.
- Knowledge of Sam’s Club products and services.

PayThe hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00.
