Job OverviewAs a Merchandising Colleague (Front of House Colleague), you will deliver a seamless, inspiring in‑store experience. Your responsibilities include executing merchandise movement and placement strategies, enhancing the visual appeal of the sales floor, maintaining well‑organized & shoppable displays, and ensuring that pricing and promotional signage is accurate and up to date. You will be a visible and welcoming presence, greeting customers with genuine hospitality, offering assistance, and supporting the overall atmosphere of hospitality and positivity.
Day‑to‑DayResponsibilities
• Begin each day energized, greet teammates, and prepare the sales floor.
• Support visual merchandising by updating mannequins, resetting floor layouts, and aligning displays with company directives.
• Engage customers with warm welcomes, eye contact, personal conversation, and active listening, building relationships that bring customers back.
• Keep floor and fitting rooms open, update signs and pricing, replenish merchandise, and support any needed merchandise moves.
• Finish strong by sharing loyalty program benefits, ensuring customers have everything they need, and ending with a sincere thank‑you.
• Collaborate across teams to wrap up tasks, reorganize the department, and prepare a successful tomorrow.
• Honor a culture where service starts with each other, supporting teammates with honesty, care, and collaboration.
• Continuously strive for excellence by improving daily, achieving sales goals, and learning from each other to deliver store results.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with reliable punctuality.
- Effective communication with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
- Understanding of employment policies and safety rules in English.
- Ability to create connections, help the store reach sales goals, and participate in sales‑boosting events.
- Creation of a welcoming, friendly environment that fosters meaningful conversations.
- Product knowledge sufficient to give expert guidance about features and choices.
- Responsible for opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
- Effective use of point‑of‑sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions.
- Seamless collaboration with colleagues at all levels to drive sales and elevate the customer experience.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
Physical Requirements
- Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting up to 50 lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.
