Job Title
Greeting customers when they arrive at the deli counter.
Ordering, purchasing, and stocking of deli products.
Ensuring product freshness by rotating out old products and following quality control schedules.
Maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe workspace at all times.
Keeping deli equipment and tools clean at all times following safety standards.
Following recipes and deli food preparation meeting expectations of Farmer Joe's Fresh Market standards with exceptional quality.
Ensuring sufficient supply of deli items is displayed in cases.
Packing ready to sell deli products and labeling them with product type and pricing information.
Slicing, cutting, weighing and pricing deli items carefully.
Attending to the needs of customers regarding Italian meats and pasta.
Preparing production of Mozzarella and grab and go's as needed or requested by the department manager.
Merchandising Mozzarella and keeping olive maintained at all times.
Making fresh mozzarella several times a day.
Helping Gourmet cheese to maintain area or anything requested by department manager.
Performing other duties as assigned by the department manager.
