Retail Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for cutting‑edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Present product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution.
• Close sales by using strong communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Potentially grow the customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside the store to expand the loyal customer base, including at off‑site Verizon‑sponsored events.

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during summer, November–December, and/or peak vacation periods.
• Experience working in a commission‑based environment (preferred).
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Base pay $16.00 to $21.00 per hour plus up to $18,000 per year in individual‑based commissions for meeting sales goals; top performers may earn additional commissions, potentially reaching total compensation above $65,000 per year.
