Job Summary The Sales Agent drives Sanitas Care membership growth within assigned Sanitas Medical Centers by actively engaging eligible patients, supporting referral workflows from center teams, and managing the in-center sales process, in order to convert uninsured or self-pay visitors into active members and establish a repeatable, structured center-based sales channel.

Engage eligible patients, self-pay individuals, uninsured visitors, and walk-ins by identifying in-center sales opportunities and clearly explaining Sanitas Care benefits, pricing, and enrollment steps using approved materials, in order to convert interested individuals into active Sanitas Care memberships.

Coordinate the enrollment process and lead handoffs by seamlessly connecting interested patients with the commercial call center or completing the internal enrollment workflow, in order to ensure a smooth patient experience and secure the membership sale.

Collaborate with center leadership and front desk teams by providing basic Sanitas Care talking points, establishing referral workflows, and ensuring updated marketing materials are consistently available, in order to improve center team awareness and generate internal referrals without disrupting daily clinical operations.

Track leads, referrals, and completed enrollments by center, reporting common patient questions, objections, and operational barriers to leadership, in order to build a repeatable center-based sales process and continuously improve the conversion strategy.

Support local marketing and community outreach by participating in center-level activations, open houses, and local events, in order to generate new leads, increase foot traffic, and promote affordable primary care offerings to the surrounding community.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Number of center referrals generated and leads captured by center.

Number of enrollments and overall conversion rate by center.

Number of center staff trained and materials deployed by center.

Revenue generated through the center-based sales channel.

Member retention from the center-based channel.

Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not currently have supervisory responsibilities.

Required Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience2 to 3 years of experience in sales, retail customer service, patient relations, or a healthcare front desk environment.

Experience handling direct customer or patient interactions, explaining services, pricing, or benefits.

Required Licenses and CertificationsN/ARequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Communication and Engagement:
Excellent interpersonal and face-to-face communication skills, with the charisma to approach walk-ins and confidently explain membership benefits to diverse patient populations.

Sales Aptitude:
Strong ability to handle objections, effectively articulate value propositions, and close enrollments compassionately.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Ability to build strong relationships with clinical staff, center managers, and front desk teams to foster a referral culture without interfering with medical operations.

Technical

Skills:

Basic proficiency in using CRM systems or lead-tracking software to log referrals, enrollments, and patient interactions.

Problem-Solving:
Proactive mindset to identify operational barriers in the enrollment process and report them back to leadership.

Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or Communications is preferred.
