Sales Development Rep/SDR
Tired of being SDR #47 on a team that measures you by dials and then parks you in a cubicle farm? Here’s your shot to get in on the ground floor instead, and to sell something local businesses actually need, not another SaaS login nobody asked for.
Prisca Nova is a Florida-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering IT support, Microsoft 365, cloud, and cybersecurity services to small and mid-sized businesses, with a growing specialty in Apple/Mac environments. We’re hiring one of our very first sales hires in Bonita Springs, which means real ownership, real conversations with real business owners, and a real path to close deals and grow with the company, not just another call list.
This role is a good fit for someone who likes talking to people, can handle “not interested,” communicates clearly, stays organized, and is excited about joining a startup environment where every week may look a little different.
You will not be expected to be an IT expert on day one. We care more about consistency, curiosity, follow-through, and how you treat people than whether you already know what an RMM is.
About Prisca NovaPrisca Nova helps small businesses focus on running their business instead of fighting with their technology. We provide practical IT support, Microsoft 365 management, cloud services, and cybersecurity tools designed to keep client environments secure, stable, and easy to manage —including a dedicated focus on Apple/Mac deployment and support.
We’re building a security-first MSP with high standards, clear processes, and a strong focus on client experience. Your job is to start the conversations that turn that into new clients across Southwest Florida.
What You’ll DoAs a Sales Development Representative, you’ll build pipeline for Prisca Nova by finding the right local businesses, starting conversations, qualifying fit, and booking meetings. As you grow in the role, you’ll take on more of the sales process, not just “pass the lead and disappear.”
Responsibilities may include:
- Researching local SMBs in Bonita Springs, Naples, Estero, Fort Myers, and nearby areas
- Building and working targeted prospect lists (owners, office managers, ops leads)
- Outbound prospecting by phone, email, Linked In, and in-person introductions
- Qualifying prospects: current IT setup, pain, timing, decision-maker, and fit
- Booking discovery meetings and preparing clean handoffs
- Following up until you get a yes, a no, or a real next step not until the CRM looks busy
- Logging activity, notes, and next actions so nothing falls through the cracks
- Learning enough about managed IT, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, and Apple/Mac support to speak plainly with business owners
- Attending local networking, drop-ins, and client-site conversations when useful
- Coordinating with the owner/technical team so meetings are set up to actually close
- Helping refine scripts, lists, and messaging as we learn what works in this market
The ideal candidate is early in their sales career but already shows they can talk to strangers, stay organized, and keep going after a no.
You may be a good fit if you have:- Some real people-facing experience: sales, SDR/BDR, retail, hospitality, insurance, real estate, recruiting, customer service, or similar
- Comfort making outbound calls and sending outreach that doesn’t sound like a robot
- Strong written and verbal communication
- A professional, reliable, and organized approach to work
- Willingness to learn the basics of MSP services well enough to ask good questions
- The judgment to qualify honestly instead of booking junk meetings
- Resilience, this job includes rejection, and that’s normal
- A valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in and around Bonita Springs, with travel to nearby cities as needed.
These are helpful, but not required:
- Prior SDR, BDR, appointment-setting, or B2B outbound experience
- Experience selling services (IT, insurance, telecom, staffing, marketing, home services, etc.)
- Familiarity with Hub Spot
- Local network in Collier or Lee County
- Basic understanding of Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, or managed IT
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Comfort walking into a business,…
