As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Expert in Miami, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or other security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a welcoming retail environment by offering directions, answering questions, and helping to address customer service issues while maintaining awareness of surrounding conditions.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
