, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $22.92 / Hour

- Thu 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
- Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or activities in accordance with post orders.
- Support emergency response activities, assist with crowd and/or traffic control during public-facing operations, and communicate clearly with supervisors, clients, and/or local authorities.
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
