Pay Rate: $24.08 per hour |
Shift: Full Time – Saturday (6am-6pm) and Wednesday‑Thursday (6pm-6am)

Level 3 Armed Guardian County Security Officers will monitor and patrol various areas of the courthouse such as entrances and garages. They provide access control and patrols while remaining visible and displaying exceptional customer service and communication skills.

• Must have an active driver’s license
• Valid Florida Security Licenses: D and G
• Must have at least one of the following:
  • 3+ years military service (DD214)
  • 3+ years law enforcement (academy certificate)
  • 3+ years corrections (academy certificate)
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high‑school diploma; at least one of the following may be required for consideration
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; criminal history considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Participation in industry‑specific security/safety training programs
• Compliance with licensing requirements subject to state or local laws and regulations

• Handle the pressure of working with a high volume of general public, ranging from constant to occasional interactions
• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site
