• Examine specifications of the customer’s order using drawings or work orders to determine the finished item characteristics, materials, and machine setup requirements
• Fabricate work pieces as determined by work order specifications
• Retrieve correct materials and perform various fabrication duties
• Oversee work of junior associates as needed
• Examine work pieces visually, by touch, or using a tape rule, calipers, or gauges to ensure products meet desired standards
• Package items for shipping
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent damage during transport
• Follow company safety policy and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain overall experience of 5‑7 years in a related area of responsibility

• Forklift experience preferred
• Experience with work orders
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products
• Spanish language proficiency preferred
