The Roving Facilities Technician is a full-time, on-site traveling role, responsible for supporting the maintenance and upkeep of multiple residential properties in the area. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine and preventive property maintenance, diagnosing and completing repairs on building systems, equipment, and common areas, and responding to service requests in a timely and professional manner. The role involves inspecting facilities for safety and functionality, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and coordinating with property management to prioritize work orders.

The technician will travel between assigned communities, maintain tools and equipment, document all work performed, and help ensure that properties meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction. Collaboration with onsite teams, vendors, and contractors is expected to support efficient operations and high-quality resident experiences.

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance, including routine servicing and preventive care of tools, building systems, and mechanical components.
• Experience in Facility Management (FM), with the ability to coordinate maintenance activities, prioritize work orders, and maintain safe, compliant properties.
• Hands‑on Maintenance & Repair skills for common residential property issues, including minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC support, and general repairs.
• Proficiency in Property Maintenance, including inspections, documentation, and upkeep of interiors, exteriors, and common areas.
• Effective Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose technical and structural problems and determine efficient repair solutions.
• Relevant experience in multifamily housing or property maintenance; certifications in maintenance trades (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage time across multiple sites, and maintain a valid driver’s license for roving responsibilities.
