The Child Protective Field Support Analyst, known as "the brain," reviews child welfare investigations and coordinates critical information flow between the Florida Abuse Hotline and Child Protective Investigators. The role provides pre-commencement consultations, retrieves and analyzes case records, flags high-risk cases, and coordinates with service providers and subject matter experts to support investigative staff. This position is based in the Central Region (Circuit
5) serving Citrus and Lake County and reports to the Family Safety Program Office within the Department of Children and Families.
- Knowledge of Florida's Child Welfare system and FSFN, Word, Excel, and Access programs
- Ability to critically think through complex situations and provide strength-based feedback to staff
- Highly organized with strong multitasking and coordination skills across multiple concurrent activities
- Ability to build and enhance relationships with partners and stakeholders for open communication and collaboration
- Valid Florida driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned region
