Delivery Driver

Deliver pizzas to customers within the assigned delivery area. Operate company vehicles and equipment, prepare product, process orders, and maintain store safety and cleanliness.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product, receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

• Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers, processing orders over the phone and in person.

• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F and above in some work areas.
• Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
• Fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler; hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 °F or higher; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

• Driving:
  Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; make several deliveries per shift.
• Standing:
  Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
• Walking, Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, Climbing, Forward Bending, Reaching.
• Lifting:
  Bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds (3 ft × 1.5 ft); cases up to 72 in. high.
• Carrying:
  Large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lb), dough trays (12 lb/tray, 3 at a time).
• Pushing:
  Trays on dollies require up to 7.5 lb of force; may be pulled.
• Climbing:
  Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladder for maintenance.
• Forward bending:
  Approximately 30‑45 s at a time, repeated continuously.
• Reach: up, down, forward continuously; eye‑hand coordination essential.

• At least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle suitable for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Proficient navigation skills; ability to read maps, locate addresses in designated area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.
