Primary Responsibilities- Research and process outgoing official transcript requests
- Update student records with grade changes, Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) and exam scores
- Process permanent record updates (address, name change, citizenship, social security number)
- Evaluate college transcripts including domestic, military, and international transcripts
- Collaborate with academic departments regarding transfer equivalencies
- Build course articulations onto student’s record
- Maintain data files in Ellucian Banner, Banner Document Management (BDM) and the Transfer Equivalency System (TES)
- Monitor multiple departmental email accounts
- Council and provide customer service to students, faculty, staff and the public via phone, email and walk-ins
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Registrar’s Office and university policies and procedures
- Provide administrative support as needed to Assistant Registrar for Transfer Articulation
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Access
- Demonstrated ability to learn different and new technologies
- Experience using email programs
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to handle difficult interactions with diplomacy, tact and in a confidential manner
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
- Work history emphasizes an understanding of customer service and reflects an ability to work with high volume of telephone and customer contacts
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize information to make independent decisions with minimal supervision
- Ability to interact effectively with faculty, staff, students and the public
