A long-standing multidisciplinary consulting firm in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Land Surveyor in Training to help lead surveying projects across municipal, industrial, transportation, healthcare, residential, commercial, and subdivision developments. Qualificationsand responsibilities for this Land Surveyor in Training position include:
- 5-7+ years of surveying experience preferred, with candidates nearing licensure considered if experience is strong
- Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, drone, utility, ALTA, right-of-way, 3D laser scanning, hydrographic, and construction surveys
- Prepare property boundary calculations, legal descriptions, topographic/utility drawings, plats, as-builts, and construction staking documents
- Train and supervise field and office staff while coordinating with department managers, clients, and project stakeholders
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Ajera, Trimble robotic total stations, and GPS equipment preferred
- Must work fully in-office from the Cape Girardeau office, communicate effectively, work independently, and pass a background check
Salary: $30 - $48 per hour, commensurate with experience.
