Job Duties:

The Loan Processor will have duties in the following areas:

Assist loan officer as directed.

Conduct loan interviews.

Gather background information and pull credit reports.

Assist members as needed with loan applications to ensure completeness of information.

Calculate payments for members.

Determine preliminary eligibility of applicant(s); suggest co-makers as needed

Prepare and present documents for loan officer approval.

After approval, prepare all documents needed to close loan.

Close loans with members and disburse funds appropriately.

Prepare and send denial letters when needed.

Assist with collections as needed.

Request LOC updates.

Cross-sell other credit union services.

Implement new loan products and services in accordance with management direction

Assure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and security of work area, desks, equipment, etc.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
