Centralized Scheduler

Saint Francis Healthcare System -  - Responsibilities:
Schedule surgeries, appointments, and procedures as requested by physicians and customers.;
Transcribe and scan orders and H&P's into the electronic medical record.;
Maintain scheduling work queues and perform 'schegistration' including verification of insurance benefits and eligibility.;
Initiate medical necessity checks for surgeries, appointments, and procedures.;
Provide assistance and direction to physicians, staff and other hospital personnel; maintain the master physician listing; collaborate with departments on new procedures to ensure compliance and proper reimbursement.
