Part Time Facility Manager - Sportsplex

• Assists Facility Supervisor and Specialist in providing for the effective leadership, excellent customer service and decision making for patrons and staff for the successful and efficient operation of the Sports Plex and its programs, tournaments, events and concessions.

Essential Functions

• Ensures the facility is ready to service incoming patrons and events in all areas which may include the set up or take down of equipment, tables, chairs and the like.
• Assists and oversees Sports Plex program, tournament and event schedules along with the effective operational functions and cleanliness of the facility including opening and closing procedures, equipment setup/takedown, access and security of all outside doors and supervising staff in the effectiveness of their tasks.
• Accountable for opening and closing procedures using department software, finance and cash handling procedures along with ensuring deposits and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handles and oversees the customer service response to patron complaints, staff conflicts or maintenance issues and informs the supervisor of incidents and situations in a pro-active manner.
• Assists and facilitates for the ongoing cleanliness and general maintenance of the facility.
• Assists with facility reservations, reports and patron satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must possess and exhibit excellent customer service and public relations skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills is desirable.
• Must possess good written and oral communication skills.
• Must have strong accounting and cash handling experience.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
