JOB SUMMARYThe Shift Administrator is a Registered Nurse who assumes responsibility and authority as the Administrator in house for Saint Francis Medical Center during their assigned shifts. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Patient Care Services. Under the direction of the Vice President, the Shift Administrator resolves immediate problems, communicates actions to the appropriate person(s), and refers issues to the appropriate leader for follow-up.
Acts on behalf of the Vice President (or designee) until he/she arrives on site during an emergency or disaster. Responsible for overall patient care, continuity in decision making and consistency in patient care. Provides strong leadership, motivation, staff development and clinical assessment to the Medical Center.

Full time (72 hours per 2 week pay period), with benefits

Saturday/Sunday . Every other weekend and holiday rotation. Weekend option available.
Education:
- Associates Nursing - required
- Bachelors of Nursing - preferred
Certification & Licensures:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri - required
- BLS Certifications - required
- ACLS Certifications - required
Experience:
- Four (4) years experience as a Registered Nurse - required
- Previous management experience - preferred
