Position: Facility Float Pool LPN (FT, Nights)

Responsibilities

Find your calling at Mercy! Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

  • Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00pm - 7:30am)
  • Sign-On Bonus:
    Up to $2,000 (No Contract Required)
Qualifications
  • Education:

    High school diploma or GED equivalent and graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Licensure:
    Must obtain and maintain a current Missouri LPN license and meet all MO State Board of Nursing requirements.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in acute care; at least six months within last year.
  • Certifications:

    Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire. LPN‑IV Certification completed or within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri. Other unit‑specific certifications as required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as required.
